CUNY Eportfolio Symposium — April 12

Dear Eportfolio Friends and Colleagues,

We hope that you are looking forward to the CUNY Eportfolio Symposium tomorrow, April 12, from 9:00 to 4:00 at Macaulay Honors College.  The goal of the conference is to facilitate authentic conversation about the various types and styles of eportfolio work across CUNY, forming a collaborative community.  Toward that end, the structure of the conference remains “unconferenced.”   During breakfast we will ask you to check off topics that interest you – topical headings will be posted on the walls.  Your choices will define topical themes for six breakout sessions.  We expect the conversation and outcomes to emerge naturally from these core sessions and your shared knowledge.  This group, after all, represents the eportfolio “brain trust” at CUNY.

The post-it topics and agenda are listed below.  If there are topics you wish to add, please let us know.  Or, you can add them yourself next Friday morning.   We also have a group on the Academic Commons, which many of you have already joined.  We will use it to blog  about the conference.
